At Rising Star Ranch, horses are raised, developed, and cared for in a program built around quality, attention, and horsemanship. Located on 100 acres of sandy Texas soil in historic Bridgeport, our facility offers a peaceful setting with year-round riding and convenient access to a wide variety of local and rated horse shows. Whether breeding future sport horses, helping riders find the right partner, or supporting clients in their riding goals, RSR strives to create an environment where both horses and riders can thrive.
Our area of Texas is known for its natural sandy soil, providing excellent year-round footing both in the arenas and out in the fields. That, combined with quality coastal grass, creates an ideal environment for turnout and raising horses.

Our main barn is built with horse comfort, safety, and practical daily management in mind. Each oversized stall offers natural light and ventilation with clean, well-maintained bedding. Horses are fed Bermuda Coastal grass hay grown, cut, and baled on the farm, with stall fans for summer comfort and continuous access to fresh water. For horses in training, we also offer additional wellness and conditioning amenities, including a Theraplate, massage gun, and treadmill.

While our region benefits from a generally temperate climate, summer heat and seasonal weather still require reliable options for year-round training. Our covered arena provides a comfortable, protected space to ride through hot or wet conditions, while also serving as an ideal environment for starting young horses and preparing show horses for consistent indoor work.

As you enter the facility, you’ll notice the front pastures and separate jump field. The pastures are used for daily turnout, as well as mares and foals, while the jump field provides a dedicated space for outdoor jumping and flatwork. Together, these areas allow us to incorporate consistent cross-training into each horse’s program, helping maintain fitness, mental freshness, and confidence working both inside and outside the arena.
